Tom Restivo, general contractor

Tom has a bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Arizona and is a general contractor with a Class B license. Apprentice work during school steered him to the construction side of design/build. Working for subcontractors and large general contractors, Tom was immersed in the basics of construction means and methods while working on single family and substantial commercial projects. Later pursuits with an architecturally driven design/build and development firm fostered interoffice teamwork between architect and contractor during the bidding and construction process. Commercial, adaptive reuse, historic and multi-family projects were completed with a design-driven process intent on customer satisfaction, quality and efficiency.  When offered a partnership with an architect building custom homes and speculative single and multi-family projects, Tom knew the opportunity was too great to pass up. From bidding projects accurately to meeting tight deadlines, he saw an opportunity to offer more for clients. He formed R Squared Design with his interior design wife in 2004 and has been the secret sauce for many inspiring homes in Colorado.
